Here you can see the entrance to our “doggy room” which is attached to the house where a garage use to be.  The dogs spend time in the house with us but have a comfortable, safe space of their own for sleeping and for times when we are not at home..

The dog doors inside the kennels lead to the back yard where our Pomeranians and Lowchen can go back and forth into large dog runs (if we aren’t home or a bed time).  The runs can be open into the back yard.  We have several large yards fenced within our 3 acres of property.   The Poms generally have the “run” of this room during the day.  In the evenings I often watch TV with them out here.  Or one or two will join me in the house for the evening.
